Electronic valve testing for steam, air liquid valves

Your pressure relief valves are your last line of defense. They protect your equipment and personnel from damage or injury in the event of an overpressure situation. That’s why it’s important to have them tested and recertified on a regular basis.

Allied Valve offers electronic valve testing (EVT) services that can help you ensure your pressure relief valves are in good working order, which means within code allowable set pressures and will lift open in an over-pressure situation. Our EVT services are performed by experienced and highly qualified technicians using state-of-the-art equipment.

What to expect with EVT services from Allied Valve:

  • Testing is performed in-shop or on-line using a hydraulic electronic lift device.

  • We can use a customer’s or our calibrated gauges.

  • We can also verify a customer’s calibration records to verify a customer’s system pressures are correct.

  • Certified tests and VR results are then entered into ValvKeep® which provides current and historical records for inspection purposes.

  • Should our EVT system detect a leak, our technicians can work with your site to schedule a VR repair.
