Buy Today!Hey there you skimmer you, I see you! In my experience, the best paper to use is the A-Sub Brand Sublimation Paper.
A-Sub Brand Paper is the BEST Transfer paper for Sublimation. It works with every substrate I’ve tried and with over 1000 different types of substrates, I would say that’s an impressive number.
Sublimation Paper and BlowOut Paper is the type of paper used for Sublimation Printing. Here are a few of the top brands of Sublimation Paper
A-Sub 105g – best for designs that have light to medium ink saturation.
A-Sub 120g – best for medium to slightly heavy-saturated ink designs.
A-Sub 125g – best for when you print designs that have very heavy ink saturation.
The thickness of the material 105 g is the thinnest, 120 is the “middle,” and 125 g is the thickest.
The easiest explanation is less weight for lighter sublimations. The heavier the paper, the higher the color saturation.
It depends on the project you are working on.
Sublimation Paper comes in various sizes, but the most common are 11x17inches, 8.5×11 inches, and 13×19 inches. As well as 4 x 9 inches (which is perfect for mugs!)
Sublimation Paper comes in several assorted sizes as listed above.
You use heavier weight for highly color-saturated sublimation projects. Less weight for lighter Sublimation.
Anywhere from 90 to 120 g is suitable for Sublimation paper. Please remember that lower-weighted paper will be more affected by humidity.
This is a trick question of sorts. You really cannot sublimate on a dark shirt. The best example I have is you can’t dye black hair, another color. Sublimating works just like that, so in order to sublimate on dark shirts, you MUST use sublimation ink and another material.
While it isn’t possible to sublimate dark colors directly, you can if you use white glitter HTV. Another way to sublimate on dark colors would be to use Siser EasySubli HTV or Flexi-Print.

How Do I Sublimate on Dark Fabrics?

However, some of the most common include t-shirts, ceramics, aluminum items, air fresheners, clipboards, tumblers, hardboards, and so much more. Pick a reputable company to order from and order from them consistently. They MUST be Sublimation Products to work.

A-Sub Sublimation paper is excellent because it holds the ink and the quality transfers are superb.
Sublimation is the process that is used to make the ink part of the material instead of a layer on top of the item. The feel is fantastic because it adheres to the fabrics, and you can’t “feel” it on the shirt. However, with heat transfer paper, there is an additional layer on top of the garment.
The G on Sublimation Paper stands for Grams. The easiest explanation is less weight for lighter sublimations.
