Perforated sheets with oblong holes are the ideal solution wherever filtering or the separation of liquids and solids is required. They are frequently used in the wine and food industries, but remember the pattern of the holes is not just a matter of appearance….. In some special applications the parallelism of the holes with the sides of the sheet may make a particular option obligatory. Technically speaking this parallelism is defined as follows: · APLL: when the oblong holes are staggered and parallel to the long side · APLC: when the oblong holes are staggered and parallel to the short side · PPLL: when the oblong holes are level and parallel to the long side · PPLC: when the oblong holes are level and parallel to the short side The perforated sheets available from our warehouse have A.P.L.L oblong holes The materials most frequently used to production these sheet metals are stainless steel AISI 304-316,stainless steel, aluminium and any other material suitable for perforation. Commercial panels are usually 1000x2000 mm but other formats or perforated areas can be produced on request.
