Which in your experience is most likely to go through airport security in carry on?

I see many here are successful in taking with them collapsible carbon fiber trekking poles and I prefer them for adjustability, but if alternative support poles (aluminum) are much more likely to go through I will go for them for my non-freestanding tent. I won’t do a lot of hiking on these trips (mostly international).

My silly risk calculation:

Collapsible carbon fiber trekking poles (Like these):

+ Made of carbon fiber (less detectable material/less problems?)

- Considered pointy (even if I will keep rubber tip on/remove metal tip)

Aluminum support poles (Like these):

+ Less pointy

- Made of aluminum (more attention in security? Not willing to pay for these in carbon)

- More massive than normal tent poles (I know normal ones are often allowed)

These are my current options. What do you in your experience believe is most likely to go through security? I know the official answer, but I want your experience in practice.
