The box came very damaged. It appears to have been reused since it had someone else's personal address still on it. I assume they opened it up, didn't like it and sent it back because inside all the hardware was in sealed packages. The parts inside didn't seem damaged so I continued with assembly.
Assembly was easy enough, simple pictures, and a few of screws. The parts aren't the greatest quality. There is parts of the wood that have issues, and looks like paint didn't stick well, and was flaking off. If I was just sitting in it I probably wouldn't have noticed, and it really was just that I put it together and noticed. Took probably 10 minutes each or less.
The seat is barstool height, and is a bit high if you have a counter.
The seat is comfortable. I picked these seats out because they have a back and I thought that would be nice to lean back just a bit and help sit up straight rather than a traditional barstool.
They swivel nicely, but a bit of the leg does stick out when you swivel, which is how I've been getting off of it.
The fabric seems pretty good so far. My only real complaint is the wood, and shipping box choice.
