How often should I wash my vehicle wrap?

Do NOT wash your vehicle for at least 1 full week after getting it liquid wrapped. After this, you can wash your wrap once a week or more often if your vehicle is exposed to a lot of dirt or pollutants. We recommend hand washing it using a gentle automotive detergent - any good brand will work. Always use a clean automotive sponge or a clean, soft microfiber cloth to wash your wrap. Rinse vehicle with clear water after washing. Dry with a clean microfiber cloth. There is no need to add wax to a wrap. It is not paint, and wax will only harm it.

What Tire Shine Should I use?

Do not use oil based tire shines such as black magic. They will sling onto your car and rims, causing them to stain and lift overtime. Use a water based tire shine only. Most car washes use oil based tire shines, so make sure you keep your own tire shine with you. We recommend using Armorall Extreme tire shine and wheel cleaner (the squirt bottle versions, not the cans).

Can I take my wrapped vehicle into a drive-through car wash?
You can bring your wrapped vehicle to an automated BRUSHLESS car wash, though hand washing is safer and more thorough. Some brush car washes may be too rough on the wrap, degrading it and causing peeling and lifted edges over time. If an automatic car wash uses just water spray and no brushes, it should be safe for most wraps. Others are not recommended.  
                           

Can I Pressure Wash my Vehicle Wrap?
If you want to pressure wash your liquid wrap, keep it below 1,800 psi. Use a spray nozzle with a 40 degree wide angle spray pattern and keep water temperature below 140 degrees Fahrenheit.  Keep the spray nozzle at least 12 inches away from the car at all times.

How Do I Clean Bird Droppings, Insects, Tree Sap or Other Difficult Stains?
Clean bird droppings and difficult stains immediately. Letting them sit for too long will make them harder to remove and may permanently damage the wrap.  Soak the affected area for a few minutes with warm, soapy water to loosen the contaminants. Rinse completely and dry with a microfiber cloth. For stubborn contaminants, use 91% rubbing alcohol.  Do NOT use solvents or oil based cleaning products!

What Should I Do about Gas or Fuel Spills?
If you spill gas on your liquid wrap, do NOT touch it. Simply let it evaporate away. Gas will liquidfy your wrap, so if you touch it, you will leave prints in your car when it dries. Try to avoid spilling gas by covering underneath of the fuel door with a rag to catch any drips. Products like the Gas Guard XL can help protect your vehicle from gas spills. What products should I avoid when cleaning my wrap?
Never, EVER use any of the following cleaning products on your wrap:

-Solvents / Thinners

-Oil based cleaners 

-Kitchen & Bathroom Cleaners

-Waxes

-Engine Degreaser

-WD40

-Oil Based Tire shine​​​

​What areas should I pay special attention to?​

Door handles, side skirts, and anywhere that your hands and feet commonly come in contact with.​Your handles will peel, especially if the car is freshly done, if you're not very delicate for the first 2 weeks by using caution when opening and closing the door. Be careful when entering and exiting the vehicle, making sure your feet don't rub against the side skirt area under the door. Also, be careful when parking so that your front and back bumpers don't hit the cars around you, causing damage to your liquid wrap. The discussed gas spills, door handle peels, side skirt tears, or bumper tears are not covered by warranty.
